This is the view facing the exit. It's near a jewelry store and some K-Pop gift shop.
Around the corner from that is this:

We'd been to the one in H-Mart in Mira Mesa. It wasn't that crowded, thank goodness, when TC and I went.
We only wanted a snack and a couple of items for Bert. Blow, their neatly arranged trays and tongs, complete with paper liners. Very nice.

The puff pastry for this was so crisp, flaky, and buttery!

There was a seating area in the back. Kinda dark though. Later one, someone was talking to the workers about the arrangement of the pastries. The workers here were very nice. I love their "uniforms" (black beret and black and white striped shirts).

We got a hot dog pastry (different than the one we saw earlier), one choco custard bun, and one feuilletee chocolate pastry stick (I had this before).

We snacked on the hot dog pastry - covered with cheese, mayo, and chopped parsley. I don't remember if ketchup was in it or not. We both loved the flakey pastry shell.

The other two items would be enjoyed later that day.
I liked the furniture in their food court. Lots of space here. Wait 'til they really have their big grand opening and when all the side stores are open. This place will be packed!

But for now, you can still enjoy the relative peace and quiet while the store gears up for the big opening.
TC was excited by the prospect of this Boba Bar.

I have no idea who this person is, but this was the window of "K-Pop Fancy".

As we left, we noticed that gold leaf was being applied to the exterior signage of Paris Baguette.

It's probably all done by the time you read this.

Up next, lunch at a nearby ethnic market...

I still haven't bought anything from Paris Baguette. The Mister says they are everywhere in Korea.
That's boy band 2PM's Nick Khun. He's a bit controversial I think. Anyway...The Mister also said boy band are huge there and ask the girls are crazy, lol!
I think I might try one of their cakes for our anniversary this year.
Oops, stupid auto correct. Guy's name is Nichkhun.
I really love the look and taste of the pastries there, but I haven't really bought a lot, just two or three items (both the 1st & 2nd times). But it's not something I would buy everyday or in great quantities. They are a bit pricy.
Haha, thanks for the research on the Kpop Boyband! Gosh, the guys look so femme!
Now that I've recently become an ethnic bakery 'expert', based on 12 hours of concentrated study..I really like the baguettes from PB (the other San Diego location) which are crustier and ...denser... than other so-called baguettes. The bread does not get all dry and crispy by the next morning-it seems more authentic...pastries at PB: always fresh, but more research is required.
Research is always good!
