Return to the Spruce St.Suspension Bridge

After our lunch at Project Pie, I thought it would be fun to take the three girls here since we were in the area:

Looks like someone graffitied this since the last time we visited back in the Fall...such a shame that people feel the need to vandalize public property...

The girls heading to the north side...

Looking back...

It was much greener this time than the last time we went (back in  the Fall)...

The girls were a lot of fun to be around. TC was happy to spend time with KDD (a childhood friend) and her other friend (a classmate who is the daughter of one of my high school friends) as well.

The view from the opposite side of the bridge. I see a trail...

That bridge sways quite a bit!

What you see when you get to the other side.

For fun, we continued walking up the street into the cool shaded sidewalks of Banker's Hill.

The girls saw this interesting carving in someone's front yard.

Although you can't see the houses in any of my photos, they were all amazing looking historic homes, many of the Craftsman.

Another old sidewalk (100 years old!):

Heading back to the car. It was getting quite warm by this time!

The girls would later bake cupcakes that afternoon (Easter Cupcakes by Tweens)...

Next stop, North Park...
