We saw this space ship looking movie theater as we were trying to get to HWY 400...

Ready for blast off, eh!
Sirius Satellite radio in the rental car kicked ass! Channel 33 was "The First Wave" (basically all 80's). Channel 38 and 39 were hard rock! Channel 49 was soul!

Someone needs some, uh, "support" for the ladies.

We stopped off in Orillia at this well known burger place off the side of the freeway. When you see the orange bridge (and the smoke), you know you're there...

Next to the burger place was a Tim Horton's, a beloved Canadian chain known for their coffee and donuts)...

We got a few of their speciality drinks and their version of donut holes, Timbits.
As we drove up to Sudbury, we noticed tiny rock formations on top of the rock walls that sandwiched the highway lanes. These are called 'inukshuk' and were originally aboriginal markers ('you are here', 'food nearby', etc). If you look closely, you can see them...

Believe it or not, there were inukshuks on even the highest rock walls. My favorite formations were the ones shaped like people.

And we ate some of these...

and were amused by this sign...

as well as this one! 110 km/h is equivalent to 68 mph. 90 = 55 mph, 80 = 49 mph. So slow! But we were afraid to speed and get into trouble!

We finally met up with C and her family at the Sudbury Airport. We dropped off our rental car and headed out to the island.

We noticed that everything is so far apart here. It was a four hour plus drive back and then some due to our break for dinner...
