D wanted us to check it out before heading down to Chino Hills...
All those chicks in those Japanese magazines have those fake "dolly eye" contacts, the same bleached white skin and brown hair. Interesting to see how the standard of beauty is still to look as "western" as possible. I'm not drinking the haterade; these girls are pretty! But really, do they need to try to look Caucasian? Okay, let me get off my soapbox now.
Ooh, one of my favorite San-X characters, "Rilakkuma" or "Relax Bear".
I got two of these "Nightmare Before Christmas" figurines for TC (Jack Skellington with a vampire teddy bear and Jack peering over four sleeping kids). These would probably look cool as converted Xmas ornaments. TC loved them and enjoyed putting them together. They'll be on display in seven months!
In addition to magazines and stuffed animals/toys, they also had stationery, pens, pencils (all cute!) and cell phone danglies (I don't know what you call them!)
I liked the Totoro pillow!
Well, this Epic Birthday Food Crawl was nearing it's end...
Our next stop was yet another place that D recommended. It was a ways off, all the over in Chino Hills...
So off we go!
